Conspiracy theorist in me says cocksucking McDonough used today to sell out all the SRO tix while people are panicking and maybe some others will slowly trickle out in the next few days. Otherwise I'll just buck up and pay brokers - they shouldn't be too terrible. I'd have to guess most of today's sales were to people looking to flip them - secondary market should be flooded.
Well not anymore, retard. It did a half hour ago.
Ended up with 3 pairs. Jan 5th vs Dallas, Jan 9th vs the Isle, both seated, and SRO Dec 3rd vs the Nucks.

St. Louis Blues tickets go on sale Saturday. I'm gonna try and get the October 22nd game.
"I do think that there's a different quality to what used to be Cominskey Field vs. Wrigley," President Obama told Bob Costas during an interview that aired during Tuesday night's MLB All-Star Game.
Sycked, my buddy just called me and said he did. I guess he called TM, though, and they gave him all but $5 refunded.
Fucking bullshit vendors and brokers
I went on a site(forget which but it lists all avail from ebay, tm, hub, etc)
Yes high demand game but for the oct 9th hawks v wings game, there is a listing for row 13, 300 lvl, 15 fucking tickets for 243 each. How the fuck do they even get that amount and just to fucking flip them?

I think a lot of brokers bought huge blocks of seats as season tix anticipating the uptick in demand a couple years back. A lot did the same with the Bulls this summer and probably got burned a little bit.
From the Hawks perspective it is good business, as those tickets are sold to a company that is less likely to welch than an individual. Plus, less account maintenance/relationship required.
I wouldn't put that past the Hawks. They're leaving a lot of money on the table to selling to dudes like chips and other longer term ST holders at a small price hike, so they can probably recoup some of that by contracting to brokers at, who knows what, but probably somewhere above face. Cuts ticketmaster and their cut out of the equation, too.
I don't think they really want to piss off a lot of us with a 100% increase, etc. A 33% hike isn't exactly nominal, but based on actual dollars it is nominal, but I'm not sure what other section saw in terms on price hikes, if 100 and 200 level holders saw a 33% increase, that's some serious cash. Shit even some 300 level holders had $40 seats for last season, if those go up to 50+, that's a fairly large increase for the course of the season.
I'm surprised they don't have the season tickets tiered as well like the Sox do. $20 for the Wings game?
They'll enjoy their 25% though when I sell them for a nice buck.
FUCK SOPEL
True; it isn't really fair for me to call it a small price hike. I was just more alluding to the fact that the Hawks are still leaving money on the table relative to the market value, so it would make sense that they may try to recoup some of that by selling to brokers. IF they did that, McDonough has most certainly learned the lesson from the Cubs scalping operation to keep this quiet.
Just ordered my tickets. Goin to Canada Feb 9 for Hawks V Edmonton
Any tips for Canada travel?
