- Ramirez. .378 with 5 homers this month. Earned the 2 spot back and his defense is markedly improved from last year.
- Beckham. .352/3/11 with a .961 OPS. Defense needs work, and needs to drive in more runs.

- Pierzynski. Had a .169 April, a .241 May, a nice .317 June, and then a .200 July. I'm beginning to wonder why he's even starting, especially when Castro could easily match that BA but drive in runs while he's at it.

It's tough for Beckham to drive in runs when 2 of the 3 guys in front of him are AJ and Kotsay.
Alexei is an entirely new shortstop this year. Doesn't dog it at all and is making some great plays. If only his bat didn't take as long to heat up.
Yeah, ARam is most certainly a warm weather hitter. I guess we'd better get used to him not showing up until after Mothers Day...
