I agree, if they open the gates, there should be a game. Unless you get some freak squall that just come ripping through, they should know beforehand what to expect. I guess I just don't envision that many people being that inconvenienced, especially if the Sox announced they would make the call at 7 AM or so this morning. People would know there's a chance of the game getting called, and be able to plan accordingly.
I wonder if Handar went down to the game since there was nothing about the game being canceled in his Sunday paper.

Waiting until this morning would've been a major douche move by the Sox. Especially with this being a weekday day game, it should be assumed that a good 90% of the crowd would be there in lieu of some other responsibility and made some sort of special arrangement so that they can attend.
You don't leave people hanging until a few hours before the first pitch to decide whether there's going to be a game or not and before letting people know if they're going to have to try to make it the next day instead.

Probably not but you got tailgaters getting there at 10:00. Leaving at 8:00 to get there by 10:00 in weekday morning traffic is par for the course for those in the northern/far west suburbs.
I'll probably take LSD. Even at 10, the Kennedy will suck donkey dick. I went to the Loop on Friday at 1 and it was bumper to bumper, full rush hour type traffic. Unfuckingreal, doesn't anybody fucking work?
During actual rush hour, it takes me 20 minutes to get to LSD from home. Then it takes like 10 more minutes to get inside the loop. Absolutely nobody is headed south on LSD in rush hour.
