that is how many times a home run call has been overturned since they implemented replay on home runs. that's almost 38% meaning they got it right the first time only 62% of the time. sure, calls will get blown but that is flat-out unacceptable, especially considering the relative yes-no nature of a home run. yeah, yeah, everything is an absolute in baseball but it isn't some type of bang-bang play that can be easier to get wrong.

His contract status, touched on in the article, intrigues me. He's 29, but has 2 more arb years. So he won't hit FA until he's 31. I wonder if Texas just takes their chances or tries to lock something up long term. Kind of a delicate situation for Hamilton, he doesn't have a consistent track record and his first big FA contract will be his last. I'd guess they do 4 years, $60M in the offseason.
