We might be going to some of those places on Friday if you are interested. The Finnigan's thing in Plainfield at this point is a sure bet as I'm pretty sure I can catch the games there as well.

After all these years of teasing us, they finally arrive on April Fool's. Great start to CBC. Gotta save up for the kick-ass events next week!
Wait on those Ruinations. They do a 3 month freshness scale, but these have all been bottled more than a month ago and they go down after 4 weeks. Wait until fresher stashes arrive.

Sheffield's on Wednesday for Short's... my favorite midwestern brewery.
Reggie's on Friday for the Stone/Founders shindig.
Both Small Bar's are doing shit all week too.
I think Hopleaf is doing something tonight for Stone. So is Twisted Spoke. That big ass Whole Foods in LP is having a big event for them on Sunday night too.
Larry Bell is guest bartending at SL Binny's tonight... but it sold out.

Stone is good and fresh Ruination (IIPA) is terrific. Arrogant Bastard, Oaked Arrogant Bastard, Pale, Smoked Porter and IRS are all tasty, albeit the stout is California thin. I heard the IRS missed the initial drop but will be here shortly.
I had Oaked Arrogant Bastard on Saturday. It was good but it didn't melt my panties by any means
I posted about this a month ago or so. It is a local brew from San Marcos, CA. It is one of the best breweries around and there are several great microbreweries in SD. Wish I could have a Stone now.
